Cincinnati School Closing

During both the winter and early or late summer, Cincinnati has a habit of closing schools do to inclement weather.  During the winter, the freak snow storms that all Cincinnatians are used to, which doesn't mean you like them, cause the roads to become too hazardous for schools buses and other transportation vehicles to be on the road.  This leaves the kids at home for the day, set to return as soon as the roads are safe to pass.  During the summer months, the heat can cause many schools to cancel class.  This doesn't happen too often anymore, especially with air conditioning being put into most schools.  There are also other random events that can cause the canceling of classes, including storm damage, flooding, disease and workforce issues.

Local 12
