Wheaton Terrier puppies

Wheaton Terrier puppies were originated in Ireland, they have hair, and not fur which makes it hard for people with allergies to own them. They four different types of coats, Traditional Irish, Heavy Irish, English, and American. They normally only come in two colors which are tan or rust
color, but rarely you can find other colors.
Wheaten Terriers were bread in Ireland to be work dogs, they were bread to be able to herd, watch, and guard farm animals and livestock. They were also bred to hunt vermin that could destroy crops, and spread diseases. The Wheaten Terrier were first exported into America in the mid 40's, but didn't get popular for a couple more years after that. Wheaton Terrier's were recognized by the AKC (American Kennel Club) in 1973.
Wheaton Terrier puppies are usually have red, brown, mahogany, or
white coats, while the ears and muzzle of the puppies will be dark brown or black in color. Maturing dogs usually lose those dark colors and replace them with either a wheat color or white. The Wheaton Terrier are considered a medium size dog, around a foot and a half tall and range between 30 and 45 pounds. Their coats are more like human hair, or poodle hair so they don't shed, they just need regular trims because the hair never stops growing. One good thing about Wheaten Terriers are that they do not shed and has very little hair loss.

Wheaten Terriers are great family dogs, they are very playful and energetic dogs, they need a lot of exercise. They are very protective of
their family and need a lot of human interaction. They can be trained to do certain tasks but it needs patients because they can be head strong and sometimes stubborn. Positive reinforcement is the best way to train this breed, because harsh methods often lead to fear aggression.
